With a brilliant ethos and a service to match, Earth Broadband is looking to reshape the broadband market to help customers and our planet.
Their broadband packages use FTTC (fibre to the cabinet) and FTTP (fibre to the premises), which means you will be getting fast and reliable wifi throughout your household.
Earth isn’t just simply offering broadband, but also a way for you to help sustain the planet. Every customer who signs up to Earth Broadband will help to aid in the preservation of the world.
For every customer signed up on a contract with them, Earth will plant trees, remove plastics from the ocean, save wildlife habitats, and help mitigate climate change.
As well as these planet-saving efforts, Earth also wants to help you as a customer by offering their services at a fair price that is competitive against other providers.
Their broadband is super fast and reliable and comes with unlimited usage, meaning you can use it to your heart's content with no worries about reaching a cap.
Earth Broadband has three packages to choose from that range in speeds.
Roarlly Fast 80Mb
Their base entry-level offering is available to almost all households, using FTTC which covers 96% of the UK.
It offers an average download speed of 76Mbps and upload speeds of 19Mbps, which is good for a household of 2-4 with moderate broadband usage.
Sssuper Fast 115Mb
This mid-tier offering uses FTTP, meaning it is a quicker and slightly more stable connection than the previous package.
With average download speeds of 109Mbps and upload speeds of 19Mbps, this option is ideal for similar households to the previous package only with more broadband usage.
Megorilla Fast 1GB
Earth joins the various other providers who are beginning to offer Gigabit broadband to their customers, boasting the quickest speeds in the nation.
The average download speed for this package is 950Mbps and the upload speed is 109Mbps.
The varying packages come at different prices, and Earth even has an introductory price for customers that sees the cost of the first three months cheaper than standard before going up to the normal amount.
Earth Broadband also promise that they will not increase your monthly cost suddenly during the course of your contract, so you have no worries of being caught out with something like that.
There is a one-off payment of £19.99 for the delivery of the router and connection as well as a £60 setup fee if you are choosing the 12-month contract option. That £60 fee does not apply to the 24-month contract option.
You should also be aware that should you look to cancel your contract, it will cost you £35, and at the end of your contract you will have to send the router back to them or face a £60 charge.
Earth offers two add-ons with each purchase. The first is an Amazon Firestick, which you can buy outright for £41.99 per device.
The second is a landline with unlimited UK calls, which will cost £5.99 a month (although a handset is not included).
Earth Broadband will provide you with a router that offers a fast router that provides you with reliable home WiFi, so you can get the most from your broadband.
As we mentioned before, there is a cost for delivery and installation. There is no mention of a fee for requesting an engineer during your contract; however, they do state that a missed appointment fee of £80 will be applied if;
